The 2015 Chem Show will be hosted at the Javits Centre in New York City from November 17 – November 19 (details here). The convention is open to all chemical companies, including those that process powders, fluids or gases. Attendees will be able to take a look at the latest systems, products and processing equipment from top suppliers. Additionally, solutions will be offered for cost reductions, Green Chemistry initiatives, sustainable operations and process efficiency. Experts will be on hand to provide attendees with information on cost-effective solutions and innovative technologies.
Executives, process engineers, production personnel and plant personnel from the following process industries will all be available: textiles/leather, chemicals, petroleum/petrochemicals, plastics (like US based Chevron Phillips), paints/varnishes, paper & paper products, metals, food/flavors and beverages, rubber and rubber products etc. Equipment will be showcased for the following process applications: pollution control, automation, mixing and blending, corrosion control, powder and solids handling, engineered materials, hazardous materials handling, quality control and testing, water and wastewater handling, maintenance and plant safety, heating, drying and cooling, among others.
Based on the success of the 2013 Chem Show Registration Report, exhibitors and attendees can expect high traffic over the 2-day Chem Show event. 4251 attendees from 67 countries and 45 states were involved in the 2013 Chem show; 72% of those people were directly involved in product purchasing, and 51% were first-time attendees. 60% of all those in attendance were involved in research and development, management, engineering or process production. The majority of industries represented include chemicals, engineering, consulting or related services, metals and other manufacturing.
